The entry of mega-star Chiranjeevi into main stream politics of Andhra Pradesh has been a hot topic of discussion in the political circles of Andhra Pradesh. Chiranjeevi has a very high popularity among the masses of AP and he has been praised also for his charitable contributions through his Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, which operates Chiranjeevi blood bank and eye bank.

Mega brother Nagendra Babu confirmed that the Chiranjeevi Party is sure to be launched in the third week of August 2008. 

Much Awaited news has been revealed after all. Chiru's brother-in-law has revealed the mega plans. As he said, Mega party will be launched in August 22. i.e. Chiranjeevi's birth day. Some are of opinion that August 15 is the best date instead of August 22. Let's wait and see the date. 

Chiranjeevi will officially declare the Party details on that date including Party Name, Party Flag, Party Symbol, its Agenda etc.

It is rumoured that Chiranjeevi will have Raising Sun as his political party logo. This is because Chiranjeevi liked the Tamil Nadu DMK Party Symbol which is also raising sun. 

According to some rumours, Chiranjeevi earlier wanted 'Eye' to be his political party logo but election commission didn’t accept it stating that it didn’t accept any political party to use human body parts as their logos.
